NEW LAKE RULE
At the last HOA meeting a new rule was passed prohibiting fishing near the bridges sun up till sun down. The reason is for safety issues. If a boat or boats are parked fishing it is dangerous and sometimes difficult for skiers and tubers to pass safely. It is also hard for upcoming traffic to see boats fishing much in advance. The signs I have posted say "near" bridges this may be a bit ambiguous the idea is to give boats plenty of room therefore the distance on the south side of the bridge would be greater, because its blind, than the north side. So please use good judgement and keep clear of the bridges. Skiers don't start skiing under the bridges till sun up. So please observe this new rule for safety sake. Thanks for your cooperation. Boater Education ClassesNebraska law requires any motorboat operator (including personal watercraft) born after December 31, 1985, complete a Boating Safety Course and be in possession of a course certificate when operating the boat. You must be at least 14 years of age to operate a motorboat (including personal watercraft) in Nebraska. Classes are offered throughout the state. |
